FAQ

  • Is this an Anki replacement?

Probably depends on your need. For me it is, I used to be an anki user, but I don’t use it now. I felt it too clumsy for my workflow.

I’m a curious mathematician + Haskell programmer, I learn a lot of stuff and I need native markdown + LaTeX support. I also need a more integrated approach to notes taking and cards making.

Another reason is that I have some interesting ideas (probabilistic modelling) I want to try myself, that’s why I made ARMS.

  • Are my notes and cards private?

Yes, your notes and cards are private. Only you can see them when you log in. They will not be shared with any other party or be used with anything other than providing and improve the service (including but not limited to scheduling, displaying, compiling, analysis) to you.
